Barbora Bezdekova

Barbora studied at the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, where she obtained her PhD from theoretical physics in 2024. In her thesis, she focused on the analytical studies of the light ray propagation around compact gravitating objects surrounded by a plasma. Her current research led under the supervision of Dr. Shahar Hadar covers investigation of the photon ring aimed to find its possible patterns in the visibility space. Besides that, she continues with studying plasma effects on the light propagation in the vicinity of black holes and she lately analyses effects caused by the medium temperature.
